FROM THE WEST

.Brethren, The Lodge had the honor and privilege of receiving and welcoming Most Worshipful James Kelley, Grand Master of masons in Nevada, and his corps of Grand lodge officers recently. His message addressed the need to increase greater streams of income for the Grand Lodge to better align income with the expenses of operating the Grand Lodge. For those not in attendance, our Master and officers did us proud. An interesting side note to the Grand Master's visit, The George Washington Masonic Memorial Temple has designated our Nevada Grand Lodge as Grand Lodge of the month, for the month of April See you in lodge!

  Jim Zellers Senior Warden

From the South

Brethren, I'm sure you all join me in prayer for the speedy recovery of our junior warden's wife. Bro. Ady took his wife to Texas for medical treatment and is not expected to be returning to lodge until the Fall. Meantime, I will do everything I can to fill in for him, and see to it that our members are well fed, and his part of the ritual done with the minimum of errors. I would like to thank the Brothers who have stepped in to help, cleaning, set up and take down of the lunch meal. It's a true joy to be part of a group where the membership is so obviously supportive of each other. Thank you.

Ron Krever Acting Junior Warden .

From the Secretary:

Brethren, Sorry to report that our monthly 2 for I lunch has been cancelled. The Fiesta refused to honor our get-together due to rising food prices. Since my space is limited, let me wish you all a happy and healthy Summer recess and happy birthday to all born during the summer months.

.David Loban Secretary
